What is Pilates? 

Pilates was first introduced to us by Joseph Pilates who was born in Germany and suffered from Ricketts as a child. He developed the series of exercises with constant focus on the postural muscles helping keep the body balanced and supporting the spine. Over the years Pilates has been developed and modified into a series of progressive and safe stability exercises.


Who is it for? 

The beauty of Pilates is that it is suitable for everyone. It is an excellent form of exercise in its own right and a great complement to other exercise, helping you gain the strength to perform better.

My style of Pilates is particularly beneficial to those returning from injury, suffering from musculoskeletal pain or post natal.

The structure of session, equipment and speed can also mean that Pilates can cater for the beginner to the advance client easily.
